While in Taiwan for a ChildFund Alliance meeting, I had the great opportunity to meet Lin Yung Fa, a well-known artist, now 56 years old. For eight years of his childhood, he had a sponsor through ChildFund. Lin tells me his sponsor, now in his 90s, lives in California and they still keep in touch. It was that sponsor who encouraged Lin’s artistic talents by providing funds for art supplies. In this photo, I am holding the book Lin recently published. It features pictures he has painted through the years. Sponsorship changes the lives of children in amazing ways.
